Aquatic Systems Design is a family run business. We are hobbyists at heart involved in various aspects of the aquarium trade with many years in saltwater/reef, fresh water and reptile husbandry. Unhappy with traditional, commercially mass produced solutions to the various aspects of these disciplines we started building our own equipment to effectively satisfy our requirements. Our sensible, innovative design style, quality minded, and cost conscious approach continue to become increasingly popular with hobbiests throughout the US who are tired of the "one size fits most" approach that most manufacturers take with their cookie cutter mass manufactured products.

We design and build our products with quality, performance, and cost in mind. This results in a product that not only performs well, but is built to last and is cost effective. We use quality materials that are appropriate for the application rather than using materials simply because "others" do, nor do we cut corners in an effort to be the low-cost provider in every circumstance. Unlike many other OEM's and online suppliers, we only partner with vendors whose products support that philosophy. After all, it's easy to sell a cheaply made imported product and make a quick buck, however, there is no win/win or long term success for anyone involved under those conditions and that is not why we continue to grow at an astounding rate by most standards.
